When our son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder Level 3, our world shifted overnight. Like many families, we were navigating a system we knew nothing about — IEPs, insurance authorizations, therapy goals, and a vocabulary that felt entirely foreign.
What followed was over six years of Applied Behavior Analysis therapy. It wasn't always easy, but it was transformative. ABA changed our son's life. It changed our family's life. The dedication of the BCBAs and RBTs who worked with him left a lasting impression on us — and a deep respect for the work they do every single day.
Over the course of our journey, we attended three different ABA facilities — each time having to adapt to a new platform, a new parent portal, a new way of tracking progress. And without exception, the software always seemed to fall short.
Apps that crashed during sessions. Parent portals that hadn't been updated in years. Therapists spending their evenings manually writing notes that should have taken minutes. Clinic administrators buried in spreadsheets. Insurance billing that required a separate system entirely.
The technology available to one of the most important fields in behavioral health was simply not good enough. We felt it as parents. The therapists felt it every day.
AivioCare was built to fix that. We set out to create a platform that was genuinely functional, feature-rich, and thoughtfully designed for everyone in the ABA ecosystem — BCBAs, RBTs, and clinic administrators.
But we also built it with one firm belief: parents should never be an afterthought. The families of children in ABA therapy are partners in that child's progress. They deserve to be informed, involved, and supported — not left waiting for a quarterly report or struggling to navigate a clunky app.
